Cusco to implement satellite connectivity pilot promoted by the MTC

The Vice Minister of Communications, Carlo De Los Santos La Serna, and the Provincial Mayor of Cusco, Luis Pantoja Calvo, agreed on the guidelines to implement low-orbit satellite technology.

The initiative involves deploying the low-orbit satellite system at strategic locations, providing free high-speed internet access that can accommodate 200 to 300 users simultaneously, using wide-spectrum bands to ensure a stable and higher-quality signal.

In this way, Cusco will become the first region to implement the pilot project with satellite internet.
