Alejandro Quiroga López, director of Regulatory and Institutional Affairs for Claro Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay, referred to this product during the meeting in Buenos Aires. "Where we have 5G coverage, we are making the service available. It is a complementary offering, with limited business cases," he explained in a conversation with Convergencia.
One of these cases, according to the executive, is areas with few potential customers for a sustainable fiber deployment.
For the 100 MB plan, a capacity of 400 GB is offered for $16,999 (around US$12) per month (the router, which can be paid in 18 interest-free installments, is sold for $165,600 or US$110).
In Uruguay, according to Quiroga López, the operator is conducting FWA tests.
