Following the award of a 100 MHz block of contiguous spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band in September last year, Entel said it has strengthened the capacity of its 5G network, moving from the use of 20 MHz to between 80 and 100 MHz depending on the location.
The mobile operator said the upgrade will allow 5G to fully deliver its potential, with higher speeds, lower latency, and significantly greater capacity to support thousands of devices connected simultaneously.
