Grupo Vytal buys Latina TV in Peru and continues expanding after Chilevisión deal

Latina, one of the best-known channels on Peruvian TV, was sold to Grupo Vytal, the holding company led by Argentine media entrepreneur Tomás Yankelevich. “Grupo Vytal and Latinoamericana de Redes y Comunicaciones SAC today signed an agreement through which Vytal will acquire control of Latina TV Perú,” the channel revealed in a statement.

While the amount paid for Latina in Peru has not been disclosed, in the case of Chilevisión it reportedly involved a payment of US$30 million, according to reports circulating at the time.
