Satellite Map Day 2026

Orbith showcases AI applications for managing mission-critical satellite connectivity

Antonio Crivicich, Network Engineering Manager at Orbith, said at Satellite Map Day 2026 that satellite connectivity is no longer measured solely by coverage or bandwidth. It now also depends on operational continuity, traceability, diagnostics, real-time response capabilities, and network control.

Speaking at the event organized by Convergencialatina, he presented two artificial intelligence applications integrated into the company's OSS/BSS ecosystem. One is designed to certify field installations by analyzing images submitted by technicians, allowing the system to verify compliance with technical standards before they leave the site.

The second is an AI agent for the Network Operations Center (NOC), capable of analyzing technical data in real time, detecting inconsistencies, and assisting in incident resolution. According to Crivicich, these tools reserve human intervention for cases that require more complex analysis.
