AT&T validates registration of 95% of customer lines

AT&T has already validated 95% of the customer lines that were registered in compliance with the order issued by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (Comisión Reguladora de Telecomunicaciones, CRT), which requires each active line to be linked to an identity.

Gabriel Contreras Saldívar, the operator’s Legal Vice President, stated that “at AT&T we are committed to complying with what is established in the regulations.” He added that “we have not requested an extension” and that “none will be requested.”
