Daniel Fiorda, president of the organization, confirmed to Convergencia that the 10 founding members signed a memorandum of understanding last week. The association is expected to obtain legal status in December.
SkyOnline's Daniel Fiorda serves as president, Cirion's Sergio Calviello as vice president, Personal's Claudio Silva as secretary, G2K's Mario Mongini as treasurer, and DatacenterDynamics' Hugo Bertini as the first board member.
Other founding members of the association include Kyndryl, NextStream and Claro.
Fiorda identified four areas of focus for working committees, which are expected to become fully operational in the first quarter of 2027: energy, institutional relations with the government, legislation, and talent development.
According to Fiorda, who is also SkyOnline's COO, the organization's goals are to work collectively to address shared challenges, build ties with government authorities, and raise the profile of a business sector that has developed in Argentina over the past 25 years.
