Convergia will reach Venezuela, Mexico, and Uruguay partnered up with NexTone

NexTone Communications announced that Convergia will displace its Multiprotocol Signaling Switch and Multiprotocol Session Controller on its global VoIP networks. NextTone solutions will ease interconnection among the infrastructure of carriers and voice services on the Internet protocol. Convergia will use the provisions of the company to expand its presence to Venezuela, Mexico, and Uruguay. Currently, it operates in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru, in addition to Canada and USA. NexTone solutions will allow interconnection via IP with Clarent and Cisco networks.
