VTR - Metropolis Intercom merger moves on

Finally, Cristalerías de Chile reached an agreement with Liberty Media to merge operations in the country, between Metropolis Intercom and VTR, according to information released by the Stock and Insurance Superintendence (SVS). The operation is subject to the approval by the Boards of firms related to Liberty Media, that holds 50% of Metropolis Intercom, and has recently taken over VTR, after acquiring the headquartes, UnitedGlobalCom. If the merger is completed, Cristalerías de Chile, involved in Metropolis, may be the holder of 20% of the new firm, and will be able to choose one of the five directors of the firm.
