IFX Networks and Tutopia completed merger in the country

Local ISPs completed the merger process, valued at US$ 1.8 million. Now, IFX Networks and Tutopia jointly hold 30% of the Colombian market of Internet providers. The new firm will be called IFX Networks, though it¿ll keep the trademark Tutopia for its traditional residential Internet services. This year, the firm plans outlays for US$ 1.1 million to expand presence in the country. IFX Networks considers that turnover will go up 40% along 2003. Last year, sales totaled US$ 6.5 million.
