Three new general management areas in Cantv

The operator has announced the creation of three new general management areas: Fixed telecom networks and systems, Fixed telecom commercial operations, and Main projects. Miguel Génova, who led the General Network Area to date, has been appointed General Manager of Fixed telecom commercial operations. Thus, Génova is now responsible for all business untis of the firm in fixed services, including Mass Markets, Companies, Institutions and Interconnection. Besides, as General Manager of Networks and Systems came  Miguel Benatuil, who was the President of Cantv.net. Marisol Sánchez, Head of the General System Area, will be appointed as General Manager of Main Projects. Changes will be effective as from April and aim at reorganizing the corporation to suit technological advances in the sector.
