CTI Movil launched EDGE

America Movil¿s unit started operations for its third generation technology (3G) that offers broadband transfer for data in mobile phones. The new service is already available in Capital Federal, Gran Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Rosario, Mendoza and Mar del Plata. For mid-year, once the extension of the GSM network is completed, America Movil cellco plans to have Edge technology available countrywide. The new tool will allow CTI to connect and browse through the Internet, send and receive data, including digital images web sites, and pictures, three times faster than through any kind of network technology available nowadays.
