Amnet acquired the Multivisión cable television company

The American company controlled by Amzak Corporation acquired the Multivisón cable company’s stock. The amount of the operation was not published, although the company confirmed that it plans on investing US$ 25 million in the Honduras and Guatemala markets this year.

Amnet entered Honduras last year to offer cable television service, Internet and fixed telephony, with a US$ 6 million investment. With the Multivisión acquisition, the company broadened its operations in Central America, where it has operations in El Salvador and Costa Rica.
