SES announces satellite NSS/806 relocation to provide TV HD greater capacity

SES announced that following the relocation of its satellite NSS/806 it will provide greater capacity to the demand for TV channels in the region, especially for HD transmissions.

That satellite, operating in the satellite position 40.5°W, was replaced in said position by the SES-6 satellite, launched in June 2013, and from now on the NSS/806 will be in the position 47.5°W. Thus, in this new position it will offer full access to pay TV companies in Mexico and Argentina.
