Telmex launches its Multiservice Virtual Private Network

The Mexican company informed that it would launch its Virtual Private Network (VPN) that integrates multiple services in one connection this week. According to Telmex, the Multiservice VPN offers clients an alternative to give differentiated priority to voice, video or data applications, administrate resources efficiently and to their necessities.  As part of the value added it provides, the network allows confidentiality of information, a better connectivity, more competitiveness and, finally, a fast return on the investment, according to the final considerations of the company. The launching of VPN is part of the Company`s US$ 50 million investments  projected for 2006 throughout the country. Telmex is also strengthening its backbone networks, and expanding its national and international transport coverage.
