Globo Comunicación registers profits of US$ 73.45mn in 1Q

The company Globo Comunicación Participaciones S.A registered profits of US$ 73.45 million in the 1Q, representing a fall of 63.5% compared to the same period the previous year. This company, result of a merger between Globo and Globopar, billed US$ 569.2 million in the 1Q, meaning a 16.2% over the same period in 2005. The EBITDA reached US$ 148.97 million, an increase of 18% in comparison to the first quarter the previous year.
