Jaime Chico Pardo assumes as president of Telmex

After 12 years as executive director of Telmex, Jaime Chico Pardo has been upgraded to president of the company’s administration council, and Carlos Slim Domit will continue as assistant president of the company belonging to Carlos Slim Helú. In a press release, Telmex informed that during the last council meeting the modification of the organizational structure was approved, with the aim to strengthen the development of strategic activities, just like the operative focus within the market. Chico Pardo¿s responsibility will be to consolidate the international development of Telmex in expansion mementos of the company throughout Latin America.  Telmex`s organizational changes included the appointment of Héctor Slim Seade as executive director of Telmex and Óscar Von Hauske as International director of Telmex.
