Netizen to obtain clients of AOL Argentina

Netizen, , company of the SkyOnline Group, has signed a contract with Datco to purchase the client portfolio of AOL Argentina, which reaches 9,000 subscribers, mainly dial-up customers. The operation is subject to an internal audit of SkyOnline, due to that details like the plan to migrate clients, its new offers and its connectivity, are still pending.

SkyOnline sources commented to Convergencialatina that it was agreed that AOL subscribers would maintain the navigation software of that ISP, and that they are still negotiating other issues.  Moreover, it has not been confirmed if the clients will maintain their e-mail boxes and the “tunel” connectivity with AOL of the United States.

Likewise, in SkyOnline, it was informed that the company is currently connected to Tier’s 1 of the United States, and as a result, the subscribers of AOL Argentina will not suffer any impact and even affirmed that it will improve their navigation to local sites.
