The company Symantec Corporation announced that it has completed Altiris acquisition, leader provider in IT management software, that enables the companies to manage and render services easily to the terminals connected to the network. The acquisition agreement between Symantec and Altiris was announced on January 29, 2007.

With the completion of this acquisition, Symantec expects to capitalize Altiris' strength in the cost reduction and complexity to track, provide support and maitain the IT corporate resources of an organization. The combination creates a complete scope to manage appropriately and to enforce security policies en the terminal; to identify and protect from threats; and for the service and repair resources.
