Movistar and MTT offer mobile telephone coverage in Futaleufú

The company Movistar and the Transport & Telecommunications Ministry (MTT in its Spanish acronym), have begun to offer mobile telephone coverage in Futaleufú, town of the Palena Province, in the X Region. The initiative forms part of the program “Communications Bridges for Chile 2006-2010”, which aims to install a radio base every six months through 2010”.

CNDC objects to Telefónica-Telecom merger, raising legal and competition concerns
