Digitel installed 15 GSM antennas during April

As part of its expansion plan throughout the country during April, Digitel installed 15 new GSM antennas. The cells are distributed in five of the eight regions in which it operates: Gran Caracas, Center, West, Los Andes and Guayana.In the Gran Caracas region six stations were installed, which expanded coverage in the communities of El Valle, El Cementerio, 23 de Enero, Bello Monte and in the Floresta Medical Institute. In the Center region, the La Cruz station was put into service in the state of Cojedes. The new station was installed in the state of Carabobo.The West region has five new antennas, which are distributed to improve coverage in the towns of El Mene, Calle Larga, San José de Perijá, Santa Bárbara and the highway El Moralito in the state of Zulia. The Andean region now has the new station Agua Viva, which provides coverage to the people of Agua Viva and Motatán in the state of Trujillo. Finally, in the Guayana region the station Empresas Básicas (SURAL) was installed, which will improve coverage in the Parish Upata and Piar municipality in the state of Bolivar.
