Entel PCS signed a strategic alliance with Vodafone

Mobile telephony company ENTEL PCS signed a strategic alliance with Vodafone Group, which will enable Chilean users to access to innovative services, greater coverage and a better quality in roaming service. Corporate general manager of Entel and president of Entel PCS, Richard Büchi, rejected the fact that the operation implies a purchase or property title conveyance. The intention of the comapny is to benefit from being part of the global network, keeping closeness and advantages of a local operator. Moreover, general manager of Vodafone Partner Markets, Hatem Dowidar, explained that the alliance wants to increase brand acknowledgement in the region and to spread its product portfolio.
