GVT expands its 20 Mbps broadband service to 29 cities

GVT has expanded its 20 Mbps broadband Internet service to 29 cities in eight states, which was launched last April in 15 locations. As a result, its broadband penetration rose from 53% in December 2007 to 62% at the end of the second quarter this year. Moreover, in late last year, the company managed to increase its customer portfolio that had access to 1Mbps from 44% to 72%. Furthermore, the Company aims to reach 70 cities with its high speed broadband service in late August next.
