Telcel prepaid users have Roaming in Canada, Brazil and the United States

As from this month, users of the Amigo Kit (prepaid service) of Telcel (América Móvil) might use the Roaming Service in Canada, Brazil, and the United States. So far, these customers only have enjoyed National Automated Roaming in more than 200,000 towns and main roads in the nine regions of the country.

Roaming costs at border of United States and Mexico are of US$ 0.80 for outgoing minute or incoming voice, while in the rest of the country, Canada and Brazil, it costs US$ 1.60.

Additionally, the company has launched Internet packs for Roaming users that are divided per areas and capacity. For example, 20 MB pack for the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean cost US$ 34.5 and the 200 MB, US$ 287.5. The preferred 20 MB pack for the United States, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe cost US$ 46 and the 200 MB, US$ 460.
