Internet of Everything (IoE) anticipates movements of Brazilian industry and regulators

Operators, vendors and regulators recognized that the IoE is the future of telecommunications. It provides for a connected world in which the various industries will be involved both in the search of business models and in regulatory discussions.

Rafael Steinhauser, president of Qualcomm Latin America, was the first to speak in thepanel "Internet of Things. Revolutionizing the digital lifestyle "and showed a robot prototype based on neural technology, such as that of the human being. It has sensors, video camera, a learning system that allows it to "do things" by itself. It also put on some glasses that work like a computer, connecting to the Internet and giving the user the possibility to perform different actions with this wearable placed on the body. Towards the end of the debate he caused said demonstration to have a meaning on saying that compared to those who argue that Brazil is an important market which could establish trend on IoE, "it is yet far from a fundamental component, which is innovation".

This assertion by Steinhauser was supporte by interventions made by the rest of the speakers. Also the idea that IoE requires for networks to be rather reliable and secure than fast , which Qualcomm executive considers will come with 5G. "The world is moving towards applications and devices that can be highly useful for society, but IoE applications should be trusted", he said.
