The satellite industry in November will attend the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-15) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) with a clear objective: to achieve a position of "no change" in the current allocation of the C band (3-7 GHz). On the other hand, the mobile industry wants some of this spectrum -3.4 GHz to 4.2 GHz to be assigned to mobile services in order to meet the growing demand for spectrum and capacity for data usage.
