The possibility of adding to computing systems - including the Smartphone - capabilities such as understanding, reasoning and learning has a still incipient development in Latin America, but the next two years will bring clear advances worldwide. Today, cognitive systems translate into chatbots, avatars that respond by themselves to user questions and information bases that are capable of delivering to a person the data they need.
