Earlier this year, the Consumer Technology Association foresaw a rapid adoption of UHD supporting-capable equipment in the United States: by the end of 2017 it is expected to have sold 15 million units, and by 2020, 24.5 million units. These forecasts were echoed at NAB Show 2017, with representatives from the broadcasting and video industries in preparation for a new generation format.
