Catel to launch its MVNO in third quarter and dialogue with Colsecor moves forward

Ariel Fernández Alvarado, president of the Cámara de Cooperativas de Telecomunicaciones (Catel) (Chamber of Telecommunications Cooperatives) explained that the MVNO development process in partnership with Telefónica is in advanced stage: "we have the platform, we are asking for mobile numbering, developing SIM cards, roaming agreements, the negotiations for the devices with Huawei and Samsung. On the other hand, it is still necessary to define the brand and complete the processes to use Telefónica's last mile. We wish next year we will be counting how many customers we have".
