Pathway to 5G poses in Chile to set dynamic spectrum caps instead of fixed ones

Subtel proposed a new concept to streamline the deployment of networks and solve conflicts with key operators.  

The decision of the Subsecretaría de Telecomunicaciones (Subtel) (Under-Secretariat of Telecommunications) of Chile to modify its spectrum policy, going from fixed to dynamic thresholds, marks a substantial change in the matter in Latin America, where fixed ceilings prevail in most countries for operators, which has already shown a large number of drawbacks for the efficient deployment of new mobile networks.
