Knowledge economy strategic importance asserted

The government remains firm in the idea that the knowledge economy is an indispensable tool to get the country out of the crisis, which includes the effects that the pandemic will leave. The sector has a high potential because it improves the competitiveness of the productive fabric and generates quality jobs in a massive way. That is why it met the deadlines - which it had promised to the companies in the sector - and the reform of law 27,506 expects to be approved in the following sessions of Representatives and Senators.

The new project, sent in February, was approved in committee in May with the vote of 75 representatives. The ruling party did its job and managed to convince the legislators of Macri Political Party despite the fact that they were in favor of the law that was approved in May 2019. Before, the undersecretary of Knowledge Economy, María de los Angeles Apólito, explained to the legislators the need to make modifications.
