Sapem de Río Negro Altec to invest US$ 11.9 million to improve connectivity

The Sapem (state company with majority participation of the state) of this province in southern Argentina has begun the year with a full of projects panorama. Some of the initiatives are active and others await the arrival of international financing for some US$ 7.7 million; and local for another US$ 4.2 million (ANR in Enacom pesos).

As part of Altec's initiatives are: the trunk works to link the towns of Barda del Medio and Choele Choel (Alto Valle and Valle Medio); those of Pomona and Conesa; and those of General Roca and Los Menucos. The first consists of burying Optical Fiber, which will begin in June with funds from the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) not yet allocated. In total, it will require a US$ 7.7 million investment divided into a first batch of US$ 4.4 for the section that will connect Barda del Medio with Villa Regina and another of US$ 3.3 to extend the section that will connect that town with Choele Choel.
