5G deployment, basis of National Telecommunications Development Plan

The PNDT aims to growth in investments in the sector, for which it estimates that the pillar will be the development of 5G. The objective is that in this way it is possible to close the digital gap and generate stronger networks.

Until November 26, the Plan Nacional de Desarrollo de las Telecomunicaciones (PNDT) (National Telecommunications Development Plan) 2022-2027 is open to public consultation. According to the Minister of Science, Innovation, Technology and Telecommunications (Micitt), Carlos Enrique Alvarado Briceño, this method will allow a more equitable, fair and solidary plan for telecommunications.
