With the objective of modernizing the country, promoting investment and digital transformation, Guillermo Lasso sent the draft Organic Law for Digital and Audiovisual Transformation to the National Assembly. Presented with the character of urgent, it was unanimously approved last December 17. It is the first time this has happened since the inauguration of the current president. "It is a law that was a good exercise of democracy.
