Educational robotics positioned for the leap from instructional to a competency-based model

The Federal Plan for Educational Robotics will distribute 4,500 kits to schools nationwide, manufactured by the local company Faniot. The province of Misiones is the most advanced in this field. Various companies are competing for a growing market.

Through the Federal Plan for Educational Robotics, around 4,500 kits manufactured by the public-private Misiones-based company, Faniot, will be introduced into the Argentine educational system in 2023. Last year, 1,000 devices were delivered in fifteen provinces. Now, the plan is being driven by the national government, and it is expected to cover all jurisdictions by the end of the year, reaching a total of 40,000 students and 960 teachers.
