Nokia expects data consumption to quadruple by 2030

The provider predicts aggressive growth in Latin America, linked to traffic on fixed networks associated with the deployment of 5G, the use of video and the growth in the use of cloud applications.

The global data traffic across all telecommunications networks is projected to quadruple by 2030, increasing from 507 exabits (Eb) to 2,443 Eb monthly—possibly even more—according to the findings of the Nokia Global Network Traffic 2030 study.
