Nokia announces Cloud RAN to be commercially available this year

Tommi Uitto, President of Mobile Networks at the provider, recalled that following the anyRAN launch, progress was made to make Cloud RAN a commercial reality, after successfully completing trials with hardware vendors, web-scale companies, and chipset manufacturers. "Now we are expanding our reach into private wireless telephony," he added.
