Milei Government rules out decree 690

It does so to "safeguard the rules that allow the development of a competitive market and the free setting of prices for the services provided." The use and access to networks is no longer a competitive public service.

The Argentine Government published this Wednesday in the Official Gazette the Presidential Decree (DNU) 302/2024 that rules out DNU 690 of 2020. Signed by President Javier Milei and his ministers, it expresses among the justifications that the August 2020 regulations “establish “an essential modification to the legal framework of the sector, which must be corrected in order to safeguard the rules that allow the development of a competitive market and the free setting of prices for the services provided.”
