Eutelsat OneWeb: 40 GEO satellites, 634 LEO satellites and three enterprise plans

The operator's multi-orbit operation brings together the GEO system with the low orbit solution layer operating in Ku-band from the satellite terminal and Ka-band from the satellite to the terminal.

The multi-orbit operation of Eutelsat OneWeb integrates the geostationary system with the low Earth orbit solutions layer. The latter moves between 1,000 and 1,200 kilometers from Earth and operates in Ku-band from the terminal to the satellite, and in Ka-band from the satellite to the terminal, to achieve better user availability, as detailed by Gabriela Serrano.
