Millicom and Telefónica signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding, which would lead to a merger between the businesses of both companies in Colombia, which manage the TigoUne and Movistar brands in the country. The operation includes a possible purchase by the Luxembourg-based group for Telefónica's stake in Coltel for US$400 million.
