ITU: Africa is the continent that made the most progress in cybersecurity since 2021

The global organization presented its Global Cybersecurity Index (CGI) 2024. It shows substantial progress in the implementation of CIRT and National Strategies, along with awareness campaigns and agreements between countries. Among the issues to be resolved are the training of specialists and the protection of children.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) published its Global Cybersecurity Index 2024 (CGI 2024), highlighting that countries worldwide have improved their cybersecurity efforts, but more vigorous actions are needed to address evolving cyber threats.
