The Provincial Directorate of Statistics and Digital Health, dependent on the Ministry of Health of the Province of Buenos Aires, has two central digital bets: creating an EDI that allows the exchange of clinical documents between software used in the sector and generating a repository of prioritized data; and offering digital public goods, such as the Diagnostic Imaging Network; the Buenos Aires e-prescription (BEP); or the Integrated Health Record (IHR), created by the University Universidad del Centro, in the city of Tandil, and already in use in seven provinces of the country (Buenos Aires, Chubut, Mendoza, Rio Negro, Jujuy, La Rioja and Santa Cruz).
