Growth of Internet accesses boosts Chilean market

Mobile Internet connections grew by over 22% year-on-year in the third quarter of 2024, while fixed connections increased by 3.1% in the same period. Significant increase in Starlink's share and stagnation of incumbent operators.

The mobile Internet market figures for the third quarter of 2024 from the Undersecretariat of Telecommunications recorded a total of 22.8 million accesses, with a year-on-year increase of 1.2% and accumulated traffic that increased by 9.2% in one year.
