End of net neutrality in US imoves forward and this will have global consequences

An appeals court ruling rejected the FCC and Biden administration's proposal. This opens the possibility of agreements between content creators and operators to privilege access and connectivity in exchange for funds to expand the network. A US court has rejected the US government's attempt to restore "net neutrality" rules. In its decision, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals noted that different administrations have gone back and forth on the issue, but concluded that the federal government does not have the authority to regulate internet providers and treat them as if they were public service providers.
