GSMA: Bolivian spectrum costs more than double Latin American average

The cost of spectrum allocated to mobile services in Bolivia is more than double the Latin American average,” according to a report by GSMA, which states that the cost of spectrum in relation to industry revenues in Bolivia in 2023 was 11.3%. That is, operators spent more than 11% of their annual revenues on spectrum payments. The proportion exceeds the regional average (8.5%), and is even more unfavorable when considering the cost based on the amount of spectrum available.
