Fight for regional smartphone market focused on devices costing less than US$300

The analysis firm Canalys said that 82% of the devices shipped are below that value. And it noted that it saw strong competition in the segment below US$200. Samsung led sales, followed by Motorola, Xiaomi, TRANSSION and HONOR. Last year there was a record shipments, with 137 million units.
