Despite global economic and financial volatility, the Mexico-based operator achieved strong results in the second quarter. Its mobile customer base grew to 325.6 million (+0.5%) and UGIS customers reached 78 million (+0.3%). Net profit totaled US$1.143.6 million. Currency value fluctuations positively impacted the results.

In a macroeconomic scenario marked by uncertainty over U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariff policy on imports, América Móvil achieved a substantial improvement in its revenues and net income, along with increases in its customer base in both mobile and fixed-line segments.
