Government to invest US$105 million in semiconductor strategy

Panama will inject US$105 million over five years to boost its national semiconductor strategy, President José Raúl Mulino announced. The initiative aims to position the country in semiconductor assembly, testing, packaging, and design, with the goal of generating jobs and attracting foreign investment, potentially impacting GDP by up to 2%.
