Anatel temporarily suspends pay-TV regulatory obligations

The National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), within the framework of the new General Plan of Competition Goals (PGMC), has provisionally suspended the application of regulatory obligations for pay-TV operators (Conditional Access Service, SeAC), except in cases where the service is offered as part of a bundle. In those cases, obligations under the Consumer Rights Regulation will remain in effect. This suspension will apply until the approval of the regulatory review process.
