The National Telecommunications Agency (Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicaciones, Anatel) ruled that in the upcoming 700 MHz spectrum auction, to be held in April, consortium participation will be limited in the first round of the bidding process, where priority will be given to regional operators holding spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band.
